Toddler Bedtime Routines with #JohnsonsNatural

Ahhh sleep. Can anyone remind me what that is? No, seriously folks, I need some! I recently wrote about my efforts at sleep training, however they seem to be futile. I need a bedtime routine that actually includes bedtime!

The only consistent part of the bedtime routine in our house is bath time, but even that’s getting a lil hairy canary as my toddler son is exhibiting his ability to make choices and voice his opinion. Sometimes it can be a struggle to get him in the tub, because he thinks it’s fun to have Mommy chase him around for a bit first. Then, once he gets in the tub, there is just as much struggle to get him out! You’d think he’d be tired and passed out after all of that right? Not quite…

I am grateful that he loves his time in the tub though! It’s amazing how much he’s changed in just a few short months since I wrote about our bath time routine. He’s become fiercely independent and needs to try to do everything himself! As much as I love using the JOHNSON’S® NATURAL® product, I have to wonder if I try  JOHNSON’S® BEDTIME®  if there would be a difference? I appreciate the fact that JOHNSON’S® NATURAL® products are paraben-free, dye-free and phyhalate-free.

My battle continues! Once in a while a full tummy, a warm bath and massage, and of course some breast milk turn him into this peaceful creature you see in the photo below.

Seriously, if he only slept this soundly for a good 6 hour stretch and in his own bed, I’d be golden!

What does bedtime routine with your little one look like? Please share!
