On the Brink of DisastHAIR? You need #DamageEraser!

A woman’s hair is not to be messed with! For most, it is her crown and glory. Nevermind bad hair styling days, what about the daily hair care? I sometimes cringe at the processes I put my poor hair through! I am definitely guilty of being a β€œDamage Criminal”.

I chemically relax my hair, I blow dry it, I flat iron it, and I put a variety of styling products in it. It’s important for me to ensure that while I subject my hair to all of these processes that I’m doing so in as healthy and safe as a manner as possible.

As a woman of colour I typically buy specialty products to treat my hair; however, I believe that I should be able to walk into any store and purchase the items right off the shelf in the regular hair care section. When I had an opportunity to try out the new Fructis Damage Eraser products, I jumped on it because I wanted to see the difference (if any) of using mainstream products in my hair.

So, because I chemically treat my hair, in addition to the daily heat styling, it is very susceptible to damage and dryness. After having my son I noticed that my hair was really starting to thin out (pregnancy hormone changes are SO fun)! My son is two now, but I am just starting to see my hair recover.  I can’t afford to see my hairstylist every week so I am constantly looking for products and processes to help it along and get it back to the thick strong mane it was before pregnancy.

Fructis Damage Eraser reconstructs hair’s strength by 90% from root to tip and is designed for dry and damaged hair. It’s the latest in hair care innovation from Garnier Fructis ideal for women like me; women who use heat styling tools on a regular basis and need to infuse moisture back into their hair.

I have used the new line a couple of times. I love the smell of this product and the fact that my hair doesn’t feel stripped after I wash the product out.  I can feel a difference in the texture and moisture in my hair after only using this product a few times. It’s all for the better but that next visit with my hairstylist will be the deciding factor, she will let me know!

  1. I might just have to go pick some of this up and see if it will help with dryness. I am trying to grow my hair out right now and it seems to be really dry.

  2. I love the smell too and that’s a huge factor for me since I am really sensitive to fragrance. This one is nice and light. And I love that it rinses out well. I can’t have things weighing me down πŸ˜‰

  3. You’re so creative! “DisastHAIR” – LOVE it!!! I also love this product line, it really does do what it is mean to!
