#BringBackTheBees

Do Your Part To Help #BringBackTheBees #Giveaway

Are you aware of the global bee crisis? ย If not, I’m going to share some awareness with you as to why we need to #BringBackTheBees!

It pains me to have to even write about this. Why? Well, because I’m sure this is not what Mother Nature intended.

Bees are the most important pollinators of our fruits, vegetables, flowers and crops.

[Tweet “More than 1/3 of the world’s crop production is dependent on bee pollination. #BringBackTheBees”]

Thanks to us humans, we are not only systematically removing the bees’s food source, we are also contaminating it and they are dying off in alarming numbers.

I urge you to listen to this compelling and detailed TEDx talk from Maria Spivak about why the bees are disappearing and why we need to bring them back. It brought tears to eyes. Take the time to really listen to what she is saying and let it sink in. Please.

Unreal isn’t it?

I know of a few people who are taking on being beekeepers and I commend them for it. I may not be able to maintainย a hive but I will definitely be able to plant wildflowers and do my part!

I recently received a few itemsย to get me started and the folks at Honey Nut Cheeriosย partnered with me to give away a #BringBackTheBees prize pack to one of you!
