How do you practice self-care?
Every day it’s a minimum 30 minute walk in the sunshine before anyone else wakes up.
Just me, the birds, and a few deep breaths before the day starts doing the most.
Other days it’s blasting soca while I clean because clutter = chaos for me.
I don’t need a yoga retreat—just give me music, movement, and a fresh vibe in my space.
And sometimes?
It’s saying “nope” to everything and disappearing into a quiet corner with snacks and a show I’ve already watched three times (hello Game of Thrones, Scandal, Gossip Girl, Sopranos, A Different World and so many more).
No guilt. No explanation.
Self-care isn’t always spa days and smoothies right?

It’s being honest with myself about what I need, even if it looks different every time.
It’s rest, boundaries, joy—and not waiting for a crisis to check in.
