LP Big Discoveries 1

As I watch my son play with his toys it’s very evident that he has an active imagination. He likes to play with his bear, it’s his best buddy and never leaves his side, he loves to colour, he likes to “cook” with his pots and pans, and he loves playing the Wii!

He even likes to play hockey in our living room with his dad! He’s definitely taken a liking to whatever he believes he’s playing, and it’s so entertaining to watch!

My son is only a year and a half but he is now speaking in 2-3 word sentences. It’s so cool to have a conversation with him and know that he understands what is being said and is able to reciprocate. I love it!

FP Little People (new)

When we received the new Little People and started to play with them, he was very methodical in how he organized them. He never called the boys by name but called each of the girls “girl”. He seems to like Mia the best and he sometimes talks to Eddie but the rest don’t seem to get any convo. Unfortunately, we never received Koby, so it would be interesting to see his reaction with two boys. Perhaps he only talks to Eddie because he knows Eddie is the only boy? Who knows!

As he started to play with his new Little People, he would place them in pots and allow them to sit with his bear (which is huge haha), or they would be on the table watching him as he coloured in his colouring book. And then there was the school bus…the Little People school bus he received as a gift for his first birthday. To his delight, he realized that these new Little People were meant to go on his bus! We only have the driver so he was excited to have people actually ride the bus! It was amazing to see how he thought they  should sit in the bus, how they should stand outside of the bus and of course he loves driving them around his room.

Fisher Price Little People

What I love best about the new Fisher-Price Little People® is the fact that they are diverse. I love that what my son sees on a daily basis at daycare is translated to the toys he plays with at home. Do you want to know more about Eddie, Mia, Koby, Tessa, and Sofie? Satisfy your curiosity at the Fisher Price Little People website!
