I was recently introduced to the Take N’ Shake Feeding System through my membership on the MommiesFirst Council. I love supporting Canadian entrepreneurs!

The Take N’ Shake Feeding system is a convenient way, for busy moms like myself, to transport both liquid and/or solid nourishment for your baby/toddler in a fun, yet safe fashion.

At Bouche Baby, we are committed to producing ultra safe and convenient baby products to make the lives of busy parents as easy as possible. Our products are also visually appealing and easy for babies to use and enjoy. Family happiness and peace of mind are our goals.

My son just turned 19 months and part of the weaning transition (yes, he still breastfeeds in the evenings), has been to try and give a him a bottle of formula or warm milk before bed instead of Mommy! Success will be mine…eventually! We’re still working on it.

Ok ok, it’s not that bad, he does take a bottle from time to time. The Take N Shake bottle isn’t just for those on the go, when I’m away travelling for work or at late night meetings, it’s important to make my son’s routine as seamless as possible, and the easier it is for Daddy the better! I know for a fact that Daddy is all about processes with minimal steps and this bottle takes care of that with many of its features.

The Take N Shake bottle is similar to other bottles on the market in terms of nipple, shape and capacity. To be honest, my son is not a fan of the nipple that is included with this particular bottle because he is used to a wider version. It’s not interchangeable with just any other nipple either, so you would have to be mindful of that if you have a picky toddler like me. He sure does like to chew on it though!

The great thing about this bottle is the formula compartment!  It’s a very convenient way to get a bottle going while you’re out and about. There’s a strainer-like piece that attaches to the container at the bottom of the bottle. Put your formula in that compartment for safe keeping until you are ready to use it. When ready, flip the compartment to the side with the strainer piece, shake it up and away you go! Clean and effortless.

The Take N Shake feeding bottle is also quite colourful. To my son, looks like a toy, and recently that’s all it’s become! So, if you’re like me and your child appears to be growing out of the bottle phase, you can use that bottom container for their favourite snack and convert the bottle to a sippy cup instead (something I clearly need to do)! It’s a product that may with you from birth until their headed to preschool. I personally wasn’t able to experience using this bottle when my son was first born but I can now and know that it will be used for quite a while longer.
