I need a camera. A real camera. A camera that can easily fit in my purse. A nice lil point and shoot camera that takes amazing pictures. I don’t think it’s unreasonable to state that I need one now. Like, right now.
Why, you ask? Well, I use my current smartphone as my camera, and recently I’ve had three issues: 1) I taken some blurry lookin, filter needin, sharpness deficient photos with said smartphone, 2) my smartphone is a smartphone first not a camera first, I use it for emails, phone calls etc, and 3) my toddler son somehow figured out how to delete hundreds of pictures from existing phone. No, they aren’t in the cloud, I checked, le sigh.
I really only see two options here:
a) stop letting toddler play with my phone (even though he loves the apps I have for him that are super handy in the doctors office or grocery store)
OR
b) stop using my smartphone as my main camera and get myself my own sweet lil camera just for me and the toddler can still keep the apps etc on the smartphone.
B it is! A true win, win situation! I’m in the market for a new camera folks and I know what I like. I’ve been doing a little research and so far I’m liking what I see. The Samsung Galaxy camera is on my shortlist because it’s a camera first, and has the great sharing features of a smartphone (with a data plan or WiFi of course), hence the nickname “Phamera”. It’s social, just like me!
