As mentioned numerous times, February is Black History Month around the world and thanks to some hardworking folks, there is a great calendar of events for Winnipeg this year! I had a blast co-emceeing the annual Fashion show last year.

BLACK HISTORY MONTH AWARDS
Also don’t forget to nominate someone who has gone above and beyond to celebrate their community, someone who gives back with their time and actions, or someone who has contributed through education, charity, community service, religion etc. for this years Black History Month Awards Banquet. The banquet is being held on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2015 with special guest speaker Robert Falcon-Ouellette!
