For the very first time, Spartan Race is coming to Manitoba on July 11th, 2015!
What is the Spartan Race?
Spartan Race is a true adventure that anyone can do, and everyone should try. With course lengths of 3+miles (Sprint), 8+miles, (Super) and 12+miles (Beast) each course is filled with mud, water, and signature obstacles designed to help you discover your inner Spartan. Athletes of all fitness levels will enjoy participating in a Spartan Race and the feeling of accomplishment that comes at the finish line.

There’s something for everyone in the Spartan Race:
Spartan Race even has events for kids and young adults. We believe that fitness and adventure should involve the whole family. Come out and watch your kids run, jump, and climb like children were meant to do all in their own Spartan Junior Race.
Not sure you are ready to run a Spartan Race? It’s ok we have everything you need to get you ready: guided workouts-of-the-day, nutrition tips to help you eat better, and free workouts held in cities wherever Spartan Races are organized. Spartan Race is not only the world’s best obstacle race (period), but can be a complete lifestyle overhaul.
I’m always curious to see which Winnipeggers enjoy races like these and I had an opportunity to speak with Terrance. He is a local alumni of the Spartan Race so he’s pumped that it’s finally here in his home province.
Terrance isn’t new to the Spartan Race and was so passionate about his motivation and inspiration for participating every year.
Have a listen to our interview (p.s. it contains the answer for the mandatory giveaway question teehee):
After listening to Terrance, aren’t you even more excited to enter the Spartan Race? Signup right here!
During the interview I stated that the price was $60 however as the Spartan Race approaches, the price increases, so get on it folks!
Please note that they if you aren’t able to race but want to participate, please sign up as a volunteer.
