It’s been a rough few weeks lately at work. I’m not sure why, but I have a heightened sensitivity to my current role and how it fits into my life.
Perhaps it’s time to make a few life changing decisions and take some risks? Or not?
Have you been in this type of situation before?
What helped you to move past it?
As always thanks for letting me share with you,
Natalie
Listen to your body and do what makes you feel good.
I changed my career path 5 years ago, and it was definitely hard to take the leap. It’s “set me back” in some ways in the sense that it will take me longer to be established in this new field but at some point, I just “knew” what the right choice was. It helped me to make a list of my values (e.g., happiness, flexibility), and see how the two options stacked up — don’t know if that’s something that appeals to you? It’s hard, though, eh?
I just recently quit my employment to get something else and, for me, it was the right move.
It’s funny you say that, my last place of employment I had the feeling that HR wasn’t there for us but for the company. You can also talk to your supervisor and they maybe willing to work with you.
Go with your gut…where your heart tells you is right. It will work out in the end. Your health both mental and physical is always the right decision.
Great advice Cheryl! Gotta worry about me and my sanity first right? Thanks again…
