Meal Time Made Easy with the Kenmore Pro Blender

PegCity born & raised, lifestyle blogger, and positivity enthusiast. I'm here to share about life – from hidden gems to healthy habits and build a community of authenticity.

I'm Natalie!

I’m going to make soup in a blender.

Soup made IN A BLENDER?

Whaaa?!?

I know, I know, skepticism and ignorance play a small role here. Every soup I’ve ever made has been in a big ole pot!

I have never ever made soup with a blender until now…

With this:

Say hello to the Kenmore Pro Professional Blender. Isn’t she pretty? Apparently I’ve been taking the long way around to make soup! Haha

I rarely use a blender on a good day never mind a heavy duty professional blender. I’ve always heard about the cost of them before I heard of what they can do. Luckily, this exclusive new blender is similar to its competitors but the difference is it’s affordable! Way to go Sears Canada!

When I opened up the box and saw the recipe book, at first I was in shock and then I was in awe!

You can make sauces, desserts (ice cream) and even nut milk! My next adventure will be to make my own cashew milk.

Anyhoo, I couldn’t wait to see if this blender could actually make a soup that was warm and ready to eat.

I always try to use ingredients that are already in the house whenever I try a new recipe (not only for the convenience but also just in case i mess it up)!

So I decided to make Avocado Corn & Potato soup!

The process is simple and so quick. Throw in all of the ingredients and press the button!

I made a lil video of the process, take a look!

And here’s the finished product:

Ok, so I definitely used too many potatoes and not enough avocado but I was very happy with the texture. I know what to do now!

My thoughts on the blender itself:

What could use some work?

a) noise level: Although I’m not sure how you can improve upon that, it’s quite loud

What I love most?

a) Power: I couldn’t believe how pressing the Pulse button for a few seconds instantly pulverized the hard potatoes. I can see how it would be great for juicing and sauces as well.

b) Heating Function: For soups, you can pour directly into the bowl!

Don’t just take my word for it though, enter to win your own Kenmore Pro blender below and see for yourself!

GIVEAWAY TIME!

If you win, what is the first delicious item you would make with the Kenmore Pro blender?

**Disclosure: Please note that I received a Kenmore Pro blender  to facilitate this post; however, the content and feedback are mine, all mine!**

I ordered this product online during boxing day which sells for $99. I don’t really need the blender for now but it was a good price so I went ahead and purchased it online anyway. Seven days later, I did not receive any product so I decided to call their customer service line. The service representative told me that they don’t carry the product anymore but yet, they still offer this online. Shame on you for tricking people. That is the reason you closed most of your stores. I will never ever buy or believe in what you offer from this time on. Sears is a crap.
