Local Charitable Fun at the Winnipeg Home And Garden Show

PegCity born & raised, lifestyle blogger, and positivity enthusiast. I'm here to share about life – from hidden gems to healthy habits and build a community of authenticity.

I'm Natalie!

The Winnipeg Home and Garden Show is only days away Winnipeg (April 6th – 9th, 2017). I have attended the show off and on for many years but this year is special!

The Winnipeg Home and Garden Show has been a staple in consumers’ calendars since 1974, attracting more than 20,000 qualified visitors every spring. Produced by Marketplace Events, the show features high-interest exhibits, high-profile industry personalities and the latest home and lifestyle trends.

Why is this year so special you ask?

Well, as you all know I’m not the craftiest person on the planet but I am participating in the Upcycle Challenge with 100% of the proceeds benefiting Habitat for Humanity. I gotta do my part to support no matter how non-crafty I am!

For the Upcycle Challenge I created an urban planter for your herbs and veggies using a rescued item from the local ReStore in Winnipeg and I made it look extra pretty with Rust-Oleum paints! So make sure you bid on my creation because your contribution will help provide local families with a safe and affordable place to live.

Not only am I participating in the event this year, I am also doing a super quick and fun giveaway for ya! Check it out below:

I have an awesome Winnipeg Home and Garden Show Prize Pack featuring items from Tiffany Pratt.

She also stars on HGTV’s Home to Win.

One winner will receive: (1) copy of Tiffany Pratt’s debut book This Can Be Beautiful, (2) enamel pins from her collaboration with The Penny Paper Co., (1) pink portable phone charger, (1) pink sharpie, and (2) pairs of tickets for the show – 4 tickets in total.
