#TreatsForToys Ends 2014 With A Successful Campaign

PegCity born & raised, lifestyle blogger, and positivity enthusiast. I'm here to share about life – from hidden gems to healthy habits and build a community of authenticity.

I'm Natalie!

Over the past couple of months or so, I’ve shared the details of  Rice Krispies #TreatsForToys program. For every Rice Krispy treat photo upload to Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, the wonderful folks at Rice Krispies would donate $20 through the Salvation Army to buy toys for children across Canada.

In my first post when the program beganthere were less than 100 uploads; however, the program quickly grew some traction as the word spread by awesome folks like you.

During the program it was great to see so many folks with artistic ability uploading their fantastic creations. I don’t think we need to review my submissions haha but at least we did our part.

The program is now complete and I’m super excited to share the final results with you too!

Yep, that’s 1,086 toys for children across Canada who might not have otherwise gotten toys this year! So let’s do the math together: 1,086 X $20 = $21,720! Way to go!

I hope next year’s program in 2015 hits the 1,500 children/$30,000 goal. For 2014, we did a great job!

Thanks so much for participating with me and I look forward to sharing with you again next year.
