People aren’t the only ones subject to cruelty and violence at the hands of others, animals do too. Humane Societies across Canada are dedicated to protecting animals from suffering and to promoting their welfare and dignity.
The Winnipeg Humane Society was originally formalized in 1894 and reopened in 1968 after many years of turmoil. Fast forward to 2015 – the WHS is located in a new state of the art facility where they offer adoptions, educational resources, behavioural training and many special events throughout the year.

All are in need but I feel the ones that need it the most should get more of the donation that others. I would split it by donating more money to the ones in more need and donating the rest to others.
The money should go to the most urgent needs
My thoughts are that the money should be allocated where they believe it to go
Since I am sure the needs of each Humane Society are different, the money should go to what ever is needed or high priority.
I think it should be Donated and split between the most needy of shelters
Spaying and neutering would be the top priorities if it was up to me.
I think wherever it’s needed most!
Wherever it’s needed most
I think the money could be spent wisely on things like upgrading old cages
Spaying and neutering. Thanks for supporting this worthwhile cause.
It should be spent to pay Vet bills
I think the money should be spent for helping with medical bills
The money should be divided among the shelters with attention to which one needs the most help!
Divide it up to where there is the most need.
to care for as many animals as possible
I believe it should go to where’s it’s not most needed
I think they should give it to as many shelters that they can and has the most need for it.
I dont think that there is one place the money should go – it all depends on needs (IE stocking up on needed supplies or replacing old items for example)
Divided amongst the most shelters
Wherever the money is needed most – animal care, meds, food, health, etc.
Cheers.
It should be used for where ever the need is greatest at that time
Wherever it is most needed – food, shelter, renovations…
I think it should be used mainly for vet services, as well as adoption programs!
It should be used wherever needed – stocking supplies, fixing up aging cages, etc
i’m a huge supporter of the WHS but think more money should go the bunnies and other small animals
I think it should be used to expand space to accommodate unwanted pets.
I think it should be spent to help all animals to get the food and medicine they need to be healthy(:
I think it should be where it’s the most needed.
Among the various shelters
I think the money needs to go where it is needed, whether it be food, vet bills etc. I am sure each Humane Society has different needs. As long as it helps the animals, that is the important thing.

Spaying and neutering is where the money should be spent. Also on medical needs for animals that are hard to adopt out due to their health challenges.
Spaying and neutering
education. they have great school programs.
the focus should be on spaying and neutering
Help spaying animals and lower costs of adoptions
I believe that the money should go to where it’s needed, either through food, through neutering or daily care.
I think it should go to spaying and neutering to help control population.
i think it should be for the most needed
I think for medical for those that can’t afford medical treatments for their animals. It is pretty costly and I am fortunate to afford it but I know others that can’t but still deserve to have pets.
Trapping and fixing the feral cat population of Winnipeg.
Food and Medical- unless it is needed in another area more.
I think it should go to the ones that need it the most
I don’t have a preference where it goes, as long as it goes to wherever it is most needed
regular daily care of animals, spay and neuter clinics. maybe some funds to help with the cost of pet licensing
The money should go where ever it’s needed most. Food, shelter for the animals, vet costs.
i think it should be the ones in the most needs
It should be distributed by going to provide shelter for animals as well as towards food and vet costs.
Where it is needed most.. Food , shelter, medical
Always been a support of the human society.
the spay & neuter program, there are many families that can’t afford it
Where it is most needed.
Where it’s needed most, whether to provide food, medical care, whatever the priority may be.
What a great idea! I’m not sure if I understand the question exactly, but I hope the money gets distributed as fairly as possible to help the most animals in need!
