For those of you who may think that brand name fashion is unattainable and not affordable, I’m here to tell you to head on over to your nearest Mark’s store!
Alfred Sung in collaboration with Mark’s is what could be described as low-cost meets high fashion trend pieces, which makes it the perfect fit for the Canadian woman.
I was lucky enough to collaborate with Mark’s to share the results of their partnership with all of you!
I happen to work full-time in an organization where the dress code is “business”, therefore, I am always looking to add new pieces to my wardrobe that are comfortable, affordable, and all about the quality. I just happened to find a few items from the SUNG by Alfred Sung collection at Mark’s that fit that description (and me) perfectly.
Here I am rockin the Alfred Sung Wrap Front Cardigan (size M) and Crop Pant (size 8).
A Lil FYI:  I took these photos in my bedroom. Why? Well, I’m not a fashion blogger and I don’t claim to be one, so I took the picture where it would naturally be taken. Only thing missing is footwear (which I don’t wear in the house)!

I wish I could use multiple descriptive words to describe how the fabric feels on my skin; however, at the end of the day I can tell you it’s super soft. The cardigan is made from a naturally breathable blend of viscose and cotton for all-day comfort. I’m actually looking forward to fall so I can wear this sweater often.
The crop pant has a sleek, slim look along with a stretchy quality that makes them extremely comfortable. (Please note if you are allergic to Spandex these pants are not for you). I also love that I can dress them up for work, wear them casually on the weekend with my favourite t-shirt or add a lil funky top and heels for date night. It’s important for me to have versatile pieces in my closet because my budget doesn’t allow for weekly shopping sprees!
If I could wear this Double Knit Dress (size XS) every day I totally would!
Firstly, let me tell you, I have pretty much worn size medium in dresses and shirts for the past…well, many years! 😉 So when I ordered this dress in a medium, I never thought I would be swimming in it. I had to return it and get an extra small! I think it has something to do with the “hint of stretch” in the material, and perhaps the healthy lifestyle changes I’ve been making too.
This dress is perfect for work, not too short and no need to over-accessorize. Again, it’s also perfect outside of work too for a casual night out, add a slim belt and perhaps boots to complete the look. Mark’s regularly has great sales on the collection too, so be sure to watch their flyers or sign up to receive updates via email.
