Game night is a frequent occurrence in our house and our primary choice of family fun at least once a week.
As the weather gets colder and we start to hibernate, we try to find ways to entertain our family that aren’t technology based!
We have a huge collection of games growing in our storage room. We have oldies but goodies like:
- Monopoly
- Scrabble
- Sorry
We also have newer games that we all can play such as:
- Mad Gab
- Scattergories
- Apples to Apples
However, our absolute favourite game to play is one my late mom gave to us a few Christmases ago called Dutch Blitz. I will tell you right now that once you start playing, it will be hard for you to stop! It can be quite addictive, it’s challenging and the scoring is ridiculously fun!
For our most recent game night we decided to play Scrabble and Hedbanz. Thanks to my handy dandy smartphone tripod I was able to capture a few moments of fun while we played.
As you can see we had a lil fun that night!
Game nights usually end up on a Friday night and we order pizza, but we always seem to be missing dessert! It’s important to me to ensure I find ways to incorporate my mom’s memory on a daily basis so we decided to pick up a McCain’s Deep’n Delicious Marble Cake.
My mom used to get these for my sister and I on Friday nights after we had takeout. We almost always had vanilla! I thought it would be a perfect way for me to share some fond memories with my kids about a tradition we used to have for family fun when I was their age.
The kids are growing up so fast, and before we know it, they will move out and have their own lives. Quality time with them is key to our happiness, sharing old traditions, and making new ones!
I have not had one of the McCain Cakes since I was a child. A game night with one as a treat sounds like a good idea!
We appreciate you yet another excellent publish. Wherever altogether different may possibly everyone obtain that type of facts in their normal fantastic a style of composing? I own a display a few weeks, and I am on the search for this kind of data Clash of Clans.
