The Book of Mormon Winnipeg

Win Tickets To The Book Of Mormon in Winnipeg

Music.

Music feeds my soul, it makes me laugh and sometimes it makes me cry, and it has been a pillar in this life of mine. I’ve been singing since I was 3 years old. My dad has been a singer from a young age, and was known to sing his heart out all over Jamaica. He then came to Winnipeg in his teens where he has been a foundation in reggae music ever since, always having my sis and I to harmonize.  My sister Lisa on the other hand is a well known local entertainer, featured singer with Ron Paley, Big City All Stars and is a veteran of Rainbow Stage along with various theater companies.  Music is in our blood!

I’ll never forget my mom taking me to a few of my first musicals in Winnipeg such as Les Miserables and South Pacific. I can literally transport myself back in time and sing Bali Ha’i word for word.

These types of fabulous musicals help shape the wonderful arts and culture scene in Winnipeg and have deepened my appreciation for music and theatre.

The Book of Mormon is a nine-time Tony award winning musical that will be in Winnipeg for a limited engagement September 27 to October 2, 2016 at the Centennial Concert Hall.

This outrageous musical comedy follows the misadventures of a mismatched pair of missionaries, sent halfway across the world to spread the Good Word.

The Book of Mormon is Broadway musical magic, an international sensation, full of humour and sheer brilliance!

Tickets are available at the Centennial Concert Hall box office (555 Main Street), all Ticketmaster outlets, by visiting Ticketmaster Website or by calling 1-855-985- 5000

  1. I guess because I don’t get much of a chance to get out to see anything. My wife and I are making ends meet but we are getting older and with retirement looming we scrim and save every penny. I haven’t been to a movie in months let alone go see a play. I would love to surprise my wife with a night out we can afford. Thank you
