🔅Giveaway Alert🔅
Sunday was an absolutely gorgeous day to take in a Winnipeg Goldeyes game! Not only did we see Reggie Abercrombie named All Time Hits Leader, kids 12 and under were able to “run the bases” after the game! My son and nephew LOVED it!
It was so chill and great family fun (beers and all)! Plenty to eat and drink, and overall a great atmosphere no matter who ya are, where ya from, or how old ya are!
I’m all about the #LocalLove so I’ve partnered up with the #WinnipegGoldeyes to give away 4 tickets to a game this upcoming long weekend!
PLEASE NOTE: This giveaway will be posted on my blog, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram but only one winner will be drawn from all entries.

I found a notebook my Dad has from when he was a teenage boy and into yiu g adulthood where he kept stats for the Goldeyes when they were in the Northern League. He captured in some of his comments (preserved in pencil) his excitement when they won the championship in 1957, 1959 and 1960. He loves sports and baseball especially thr Goldeyes and I would love to treat my folks to a game as we are all free this weekend and it is their 52nd anniversary. I think my Dad can still recite some of those classic stats

Max Poulin was always one of our favourite players so attending on Max Poulin day and getting a max Poulin bobblehead was very special

My favourite game memory happened a few years ago, my niece had won a “box” upstairs at the game at a social and it was the last box on the field over A section. It was cool because I parked that time next to the park near the “wings” sculpture and I could see the car. Well it was 3 or 4 innings in and Someone hit a Grand slam Home run with the bases loaded. We were so happy right up till the ball hit my car. I saw it hit. I went down and in the dent you could make out the stitching on the ball. Well I talked to the Goldeyes people and they had a deal with Maaco. I took it to them and they fixed it up no problem. I just wish I could have kept the stitching…. Oh well
