Once upon a time, there was a little coffee shop called Le Garage Cafe in the heart of St.Boniface in Winnipeg. Â The ambiance was quaint, folks sipping on their lattes & cappuccinos, and nibbling on fresh baked goods. Â The only music you heard was a local jazz station playing in the background. It’s hard to believe that was just a few years ago! Now Le Garage Cafe is a bustling venue featuring live music, events and fabulous food!
Le Garage Cafe has been the choice venue for many local acts since the transformation in 2008. Ray Beaudry, owner, is an avid music lover and it shows! Just peek inside and look at the custom-made art of music legends that are showcased on the walls. You can stop in and listen to live music 3 to 4 days a week!
The menu has so much to offer no matter what time of day. You can’t be in the French Quarter, in the heart of the Francophone community in Winnipeg, and not have the amazing poutine at Le Garage. The food at Le Garage exudes a contemporary flair with the staple French items and is infused with tradition.
I love supporting local businesses who support other local businesses. Â Ray has always been a great supporter of JCI Winnipeg, an organization of young professionals and entrepreneurs. Â He is also well known for his community support which is evident when Festival Du Voyageur rolls around in February! He’s truly involved in his community and beyond, and I’m positive that has only added to his success.
I’m ecstatic to have partnered up with Ray on this $50 gift card giveaway! It’s always nice to win a treat like this after the holiday season, perhaps it will help you to shake off this deep freeze!
This is a local giveaway folks, therefore it’s only eligible to those who live in Winnipeg and the surrounding areas. Ends on Jan 21, 2014, good luck!
