How would you like to participate in a great social good program this holiday season?
I knew you’d say yes! Guess what? It’s super simple, and sweet, some would say it’s a great treat!
Rice Krispies is at it again for the 3rd year in a row and I love having fun trying to get my creative sculpting juices flowing. My son was more involved this year now that he’s older, and he had a blast!
Here’s a quick rundown of the program:
Make toy-shaped treats from Rice Krispies cereal
Upload your creation to social media using the #TreatsforToys hashtag.
For every upload using the hashtag, $20 is donated to the Salvation Army.
The Salvation Army will use this money to buy toys for children in need.
Easy peasy and for such a great cause!
We’ve improved since last year in our toy making skills, but we’ll keep at it and do our part for those who may only get that ONE toy this year.
How about a little incentive to make a few treats of your own?
Win your own Rice Krispies Prize Pack so that you can get going on making your personal toy store to share with all of us! Ends Dec 9, Open to Canada (except where prohibited).
What type of toy do you think would be the easiest to make out of Rice Krispy treats?
Happy “toy” making!
