A Convenient Way to Celebrate National Wing Weekend in Manitoba

Working full time, with long hours at times, a girl can get famished by the end of the day and there are many times where I haven’t meal planned well (I know, I know I need to get better with that). As I drive home I pass by full service restaurants etc and think to myself, I don’t want to take even more time to get home by having to order and wait, especially during the week when it seems as if the evenings at home barely exist because they are so short.

Therefore, when I’m driving home, I look for the opportunity to grab a meal that is quick, convenient, and of high quality – yes, that does exist!

7-Eleven is proud to serve the highest quality Canadian chicken “Raised by a Canadian Farmer”

7ElevenCanada Wing Weekend

Yep, you read that right! I had no idea myself. I often stop at my local 7-Eleven to grab gas, and a beverage of some sort, maybe a snack, but typically I’m in and out, not really looking at all of the products and services they have to offer.

Lo and behold, I recently stopped at my neighbourhood 7-Eleven and saw that not only do they sell a variety of hot foods, but they sell chicken, and lots of it! To know that they serve chicken that comes from a strict, mandatory On-Farm Food Safety Program (which is a national standard in Canada) is fantastic.

Anyone who knows me, knows that I LOVE chicken wings, delicious, lip smacking, chicken wings. Breaded, saucy, spicy or sweet, I eat them all!

And guess what? 7-Eleven has quite the variety of chicken wings (Salt & Pepper, Tandoori, Buffalo, Fire Roasted, and Honey Garlic), just to name a few.

I recently picked up a 10 piece wing mini bucket with 5 different types of wings!

It is regularly $8.00 but for National Wing Weekend, it will only be $7.11!

DID YOU KNOW?

July 28/29 is National Wing Weekend at 7-Eleven. This event was created by 7-Eleven for Canadians (like me) who happen to have a “thing for wings”!

What I appreciate most is that 7-Eleven is supporting Canadian Chicken farmers and because the “Raised by a Canadian Farmer” logo is on their chicken products, I know that I am getting the highest quality chicken, raised to the highest standards of animal care, quality and sustainability.

That’s extremely important to me, how about you?

I would love for you fabulous readers/followers to try these wings out (if you haven’t already), so I am partnering up with 7-Eleven to giveaway a few coupons for some free chicken wings!
